Our Services
Congregational Prayers:
Salaam Masjid is open all day for the five daily prayers as well as Jumu’ah Prayer, Eid Salat, Taraweeh and Janazah Prayer.
Madrasah:
The mosque has two rooms which function as Madrasah for both Boys and Girls. We believe it is vital that our children are taught about their religion and raised according to Islamic values. We also offer special Tajweed and Hafiz classes.
Lectures:
Men
Saturday after Dhuhr – Explanation and Extraction of benefits from Umdatul Ahkamm.
Saturday after Isha – Explanation and Extraction of benefits from small books to understand our religion.
Sunday after Dhuhr – Explanation and Extraction of benefits from Riyadh-As-Saaliheen.
Women
Sunday at 9pm – Sister’s class – Explanation and Extraction of benefits from small books to understand our religion.
Da’wah: Inviting or calling people to embrace Islam
The mosque is active in Da’wah and it is something that we embrace. We liaise with TDM to offer training and workshops to our community in how to give Da’wah effectively and convey the message. We believe everyone has the RIGHT to know about Islam and its good teachings.
Nikah: Islamic marriage
The Imam conducts Islamic marriage: The fundamental building block of life. Husband (man) and wife (woman) to keep faithful to each other for the rest of their lives.
Iftaar:
During the blessed month of Ramadan, we provide iftaar to our brothers for them to break their fasts.
Qiyamul Layl:
Come to one of our Imaan energy booster nights where you will experience amazing Qur’an recitation, interesting and beneficial lectures, Socializing with brothers from different areas to increase love and bond, Da’wah talks, and much more.
